FBC Andalusia Women's Ministry

"A sweet friendship refreshes the soul." Proverbs 27:9

Summer is a great casual time to get together with girlfriends. There may be women in your Sunday School Class, Bible Study Group, or just women in your neighborhood you have not been able to get to know.

(or it might just be someone older or younger that looks like she might just be fun.)

Ideas that just may inspire and engage you this summer…

*Small Bible Study Group - Connect with women who would like to read a particular book of the Bible together.

*Prayer Partners – Find another woman who would like to share her prayer requests and be committed to pray for each other.

*A Walking Group – It’s Healthy…Body, Mind, and Spirit

*Ice Cream Bar – You provide the ice cream…others bring the toppings.

*Book Club – Select a book that focuses on reading and discussing Christian books or books that promote spiritual growth

*Movie Night- Get a movie (chic flick) and enjoy.

Most of our classes have been completed or have paused

for Summer Break and will resume Fall Semester.

The exception is "Women on Mission" and "Faithful Workouts".

Below were some of our Spring offerings.

Fall classes are coming soon!

Devoted, unwavering love between sisters in Christ can change the world.  This is the heart of Women's Ministry and ministering to other women around you:  seeing needs and determining to show up and help meet them in Jesus' name.

Weekly Equipping Classes

Have you been wanting to join a lady's group, but not sure about how they work or how your schedule will work with a long-term commitment to a class?  Check out this spring's, two mini courses that run simultaneously to get involved and grow your faith and relationship with God!  Both classes begin on April 17th and run through May 8, 6:00 PM.  Childcare is provided.

  • Starved

In this four-week study, loosely based on the book by the same name by Amy Seiffert, women will learn to change their spiritual diet and start enjoying a fulfilling faith.  Ladies in this class will "sweep out their spiritual pantry" and replace the old "ingredients" with strong biblical principles that will provide health change in real, lasting ways. Led by Kim Hopkins, Room 107

  • Love Does

In this four-week class, based on the book by the same name, Bob Goff explores how as Christian women we experience real growth as we learn to tap into the love of God.  Using love fills us. Risking love secures us. Giving love satisfies us. Lades in this class will be challenged to put God's love into action! Led by Tori Norris, Room 108
